Weather:
Average annual temperatures vary from 21 to 35ºC (70 to 95ºF),
often reaching 40ºC (105ºF) in April, the hottest month. The
ideal months to be in Cambodia are December and January, when
humidity is bearable, temperatures are cooler and it is unlikely
to rain. The wet season (from May to October) can be a good time
to visit Angkor Wat. From February onwards to April is very hot
Cambodia's climate is governed by two monsoons: the cool, dry
northeastern monsoon (from November to February), and the humid
southwestern monsoon (from May to October). Monsoon rains fall
mostly in the afternoon, and account for 70 to 80% of annual
rainfall.

Cambodia is located in the center of southeast Asia and is
flanked on the east and the west by Vietnam and Thailand with
Laos located to its north. Cambodia is slightly smaller than
Oklahoma. Its population is 12,491,501
The
official name of the country is the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Cambodia is a multiparty democracy under a constitutional
monarchy. The Chief of State is King Norodom Sihanouk. The
Head of government is Prime Minister Hun Sen. There is a
bicameral legislature National Assembly. Phnom Penh is the
capital city. Other major cities are Battamabang and
Sihanoukville. For internal travel to major cities, airlines
use a mix of western and former soviet union aircraft.
