Midrange hotels run $15-35 a night with a few in the $50-75 range.  The average mid-range room includes aircon, cable TV, hot water, fridge and other amenities.  Some of the more popular mid-range places include the Flamingos, Scandic, Golden Gate, Sunrise, Billabong and Walkabout.  There are a limited number of international standard hotels in Phnom Penh including the InterContinnental, Sunway, Le Royal, Imperial Garden, Cambodiana and Juliana.  These hotels start at around $110-$220 a night.  Le Royal and InterConninental both offer suites in the $1,500 plus range.  Imperial Garden has luxury suite-apartments for long term stays.  At the other end of the spectrum, the best known budget guesthouses are the Last Home, Sunday and Capitol.  The area near the mosque on Boeung Kak Lake is fast becoming a backpacker center with several cheap restaurants, internet shops and guesthouses including Shanti Lodge, Grandview and the Lazy Gecko.
