These photos were taken of the new construction on
Tuesday, November 2, 2004,
election day in America. I felt it appropriate to time the photos to this
date as this
election and its outcome will determine the future for so many.
The new embassy is huge, occupying an entire city
block literally at the steps of
Phnom Penh's most famous landmark, Wat Phnom. Art decorates its
construction
walls and below you will find the "dove of peace" that some artist has painted
on it.
Hopefully this graphic message will be the future for this structure as well....
